I like to pacify
Conflicts I like to avoid
For I like the peaceful waves
But once in awhile
Though scarce it’s true
A rage builds in me
And things spill out
Verbal diarrhea of all the things
That people have done to wrong me
A wave of anger
Swiftly gone
Peace comes over me
For a few moments
Until regret is there

Peace reigns.

  1. I love the bit about verbal diarrhea!

  2. I think we are all entitled to let it all out once in a while - and it's a skill to find peace again - nicely written Sheilagh :)

  3. I know that sequence well!

    Peace ... peace ... peace ... peace ... peace ... peace ... ERUPT ... peace ... peace ... peace ...

Thanks for visiting Nickers and Ink Poetry and Humor - and happy A-Z. Here comes the final week!
