Tell them you love them

Life is too short
You think tomorrow
Will always come
Sudden death rocks your foundation
Makes you question why?
Why youth dies?
Death comes knocking at the door,
To bring you sorrow
And pain that puts you on the floor
Hug your loved ones
Tell them you love them every day
Have good times and fun
Before time slips away.

  1. It is true, life is like a bubble, it can pop anytime, without any warning. So why do we postpone things such as telling people that we love them for tomorrow? Well penned.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Stay strong.

  4. This is good advice. This is the stuff that should be kept on a post-it on everyone's desk as a constant reminder.

  5. So true! We get so caught up in the petty dramas and the forward motion of life that we forget to appreciate what we have in the moment. Great poem.
