Waiting
I know you're waiting
For that ride
Your love is coming
Finally
To take you away
I'm happy for you
you'll have no pain
No more worries, or woe
Youth will find you again
My heart bleeds
For my mother
Is going home
And I'll miss you
Forever more

For June
For June
If I could have picked
A mother-in –law
She’d have been
A lot like you
A giving mother
With a sense of humor
Who taught her children
To be clever and kind
To be generous
Without a thought
To express themselves
Without worry or reprisal
That debate was lively conversation
Within a family
No ill will was thought
That acceptance to the family
Was because love abided here

If I had wings
If I had wings
If I had wings
I’d want to fly
High up in the sky
To touch the
heavens
To see your smile
Just one more time
To hear your voice
But even now
I close my eyes
I hear your voice
Your wisdom echoes
Deep within my mind
I see the smile
That could have
launched
A thousand ships
But that chose
To birth and raise
Six children
How lucky we were
To have such a
tender soul
To teach and guide
us
Thank- you Mom
For everything and
know
We miss you still.
