Of false facts to base their claims

If they repeat enough

Someone will believe

Do We Believe?

Prompts:assess, subconscious, destiny

Does the past assess?

Everything we do?

Or can we escape

The ties that bind

Twist and knot

Into our subconscious

Hiding in deepest corners

Life is fairer

To some then others

Now they tell us

It damages our DNA

Nonsense we say

We hold our destiny

Not scientists

But do we really?

Tuesday Writings#No 14- Politics is not business

Some say he's a farceur

Who uses the lexicon

Of his idea of big business

To run a country

But a country is not a business

It is people coming together

For common good and prosperity.

If you've run a company or two

Into bankruptcy not once

But many many times

And left people in the poor house

Redacting your past deeds

Calling them fake news

Should people actually trust

What Will Poor Robin Do?

Carol is distressed and angry at the world as her grandfather has been murdered along with her parents and it seems like her family is fighting for custody of her to get her inheritance. Meanwhile Emmett’s life is in turmoil as his baby mama Sherry-Anne and his son Caleb have temporarily moved in with him and Lily isn't speaking to him. Emmett is however preoccupied with solving the Banks murders and the mayor but is getting nowhere. The teens band together to solve the murder and put themselves in mortal danger again as they all find that family connections are the ties that bind.
