Resolution; noun: A firm decision to do or not to do something; a formal expression of opinion or intention agreed on by a legislative body, committee, or other formal meeting, typically after taking a vote; the action of solving a problem, dispute, or contentious matter.
Transform; verb: Make a thorough or dramatic change in the form, appearance, or character of; undergo such a change.
As I stare at the goodies of Christmas
I make a resolution to transform
This older body and not eat as much
But still it beckons me
So I hide it in the cupboards
And tell family go ahead demolish
So there's less of me
To have to transform
And more of them?

The problem was taking it out of the cupboard in the first place. It is probably bad advice but just eat it all up now, feel guilty then do the penance.
