Whether here, whether there
There is weather everywhere
The wind does blow
The trees sway
The rain falls
Most every place
We share the Earth
A beautiful place
If we do not bespoil it
But some of those cunning
Or is it Machiavellian?
Leaders in charge
Deny and continue to waste
And pollute the place we call home
Calling us babyish, ill informed
When we protest
We wish they’d quit their denial
In the name of the almighty buck
Before the Earth is done.
