Three Word Wednesday - Voting

Three Word Wednesday - Voting

Prompts: Fatal, adjective: causing death, leading to failure or disaster.
Glimmer, verb: shine faintly with a wavering light; noun: a faint or wavering light, a faint sign of a feeling or quality, especially a desirable one.
Impartial, adjective: treating all rivals or disputants equally; fair and just.

It is a fatal mistake
To not weigh both sides
When deciding your vote
While you may
Want to be impartial
A decision must be made
That leaves the populace
A glimmer of hope
Things can change
For the better

  1. Interesting poem Sheilagh where politics are concerned partiality is the name of the game. When voting we normally favor ourselves over everything else. It is the same the world over. Politicians are in it for themselves so we do likewise!

  2. voting is an act hope - one people were willing to die for...for that reason we must always exercise our right - for the hope of change...a beautiful poem Sheilagh..passionate and clear
